Nvidia on the other hand is pushing technology - proprietary included - but this is something that differs from the standard consoles. And i am really tiried of all these console ports.

So for me as a PC gamer AMD is living with the fact that we will see more and more console ports. The current products do not really shine when it comes to DX11.

AMD should play that game too because as it is right now, AMD from my point of view focuses more on volume, small die sizes etc. Well they can also invest in the same developers. Also correct me if I am wrong but when it comes to game development for a title such as crysis 2 isnt 2m a very low figure.Ģm is a low figure and no reason to delay a game for months if it means missing a good sales window. I am a consumer at the end I want to have spent my money and be happy with what I bought. Not going to shaft myself over how one company does business. If an amd or nv card will suit my needs better such as if the titles I am interested in are "optimized" for that camp then they will have my business. I will buy whatever brand that suits my needs. As a nv customer alot of titles are supposedly done to run better on hardware you own. You also have to consider the nv customer. Right now the only ppl loosing out are ati users. Just happens that nv puts more money or whatever towards getting more games. There's poster child games for amd hardware such as bc2.
That would be ideal but the world is not about fair. Might as well just buy a console then eh ? Now if both AMD and Nvidia start to buyout developers left and right, that will lesson the number of games that would work 100% on my hardware so both nvidia and AMD users would loose out in the end.
